It’s “Goofy meets Tony Hawk”! This fun
skateboarding program serves up lots of colorful 3D graphics and a variety of game options.
First, kids choose whether to skate as the lovable Goofy or as his son, Max. Next, they pick the skater’s clothes and helmet, and finally they choose which game type. Activities include a tutorial mode where kids can practice tricks and a free skate area. There are also trick competitions and a set of obstacle courses where kids collect coins and avoid hazards. Different skating “worlds”, including desert and city, are rendered in impressive 3D graphics. Up to ten games can be saved. We found theprogram fairly easy to use, although we’d recommend a game controller in place of the confusing keyboard commands.
